I was in from out of town and asked a couple of friends to pick a place for dinner. They picked Campagne House because it was close to the office where I was working. (They're both retired.) We met at 5pm so there weren't many...people there and we didn't have to wait for a table. I had the salmon with broccoli rabe and risotto. The salmon was a good quality piece of fish. I like my salmon broiled with a little bit of a char on it and this had some light grill marks but I would have preferred it a little more well done on the top. The broccoli rabe was pretty bland; not bad but essentially no flavor to it. The risotto was excellent. One of the others in our group had a pizza and another had a pasta dish. They seemed to enjoy their food. Our bill for those items, one glass of wine and a soda with a 20% tip was $100. The salmon seemed a bit high but not terribly overpriced but I thought the other items were definitely high. We had a nice conversation and it was convenient but there was nothing there that made me want to return.More
